Mallory Marine Knowledgebase Question:

Hi, maybe my first question wasnt clear enough. Can a Mallory 9-29722 be used as a direct replacement for a Mallory 30450 ? The coil is required for use with Mallory 61004M. Is an external ballast resistor required when using the 9-29722 with the 61004M. Looking foward to your reply. Regards Adrian.

Yes, these are the same coils. 30450 = 9-29722 They are a direct replacement for each other.... No external ballast resistor needed with this coil
