Mallory Marine Knowledgebase Question:

I want to convert my ignition system on both engines with an Electronic ignition. The present ignition system I have is a YL566AV distributor assembly. It consists of Mallory pts 25042, condensor 400, rotor 319, distributor cap 25620B. Can I purchase a complete ignition system with the electronic ignition already made into the distributor or is the electronic ignition, only an add on. I want to replace the distributor in either case and need pricing on whatever way this can be done. Thank you. Paul Thompson PaulTbird@aol.com

Paul,thank you for your interest in Mallory marine products.To convert to electronic ignition you can get either our "YLU" series Unilite or "YLM" series magnetic breakerless distributors.
